Frustrated phagocytosis. Fluorescently labeled asbestos (red) was phagocytosed by RAW264.7 cells. The actin cytoskeletons and nuclei were stained with Actin Green™ 488 (green) and 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (blue), respectively.
