Colony-formation by HeLa cells treated with lactec (Ctrl.) and 1- to 8-fold diluted A 5-min PAL or B 10-min PAL. The pH of the solutions was adjusted with 20 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.1) and then the PALs were treated with catalase. The photos show colonies in the wells of 6-well plates after fixation and staining. The dilution factors are shown above the panels. C Relative colony forming ability of the cells.
