Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) carrying pET21a (+)-KsgA, pET21a (+)-KsgA (1-213), or pET21a (+)-KsgA (9-273) was induced by 0.1 mM IPTG at 20 °C for 16 h. Proteins were separated by 0.1% SDS-12% PAGE and stained with Coomassie Blue. Lane 1, molecular weight marker; lane 2, purified His-KsgA (19.5 μg); lane 3, purified His-KsgA (1-213) (7.3 μg); lane 4, His-KsgA (9-273) (85.3 μg)
